Welcome to SaddleBrooke Pickleball Association
Whether you are new to pickleball or an experienced player, enjoy new friends and exercise by participating in the fastest growing sport in America!
SaddleBrooke Pickleball Association Inc. (SPA)
is the second largest club in SaddleBrooke. SPA offers pickleball for most skill levels, from unrated beginners through 4.5 level players.
Effective January 1, 2023, SaddleBrooke residents who are not members of SPA have increased opportunities to play at the Robson Pickleball Center (RPC).
PLEASE NOTE: The Robson Pickleball Center is a private amenity of SaddleBrooke Homeowners Association No. 2, and is not open to the public. Persons who live outside of SaddleBrooke are not permitted to play on these courts unless they are staying with a SaddleBrooke resident as a house guest and are accompanied by and playing with the resident. In addition, SaddleBrooke residents who are not members of SPA, and their house guests, may not play at the RPC other than during “SaddleBrooke Resident Drop-in” as outlined on this page. Anyone not meeting these requirements will be asked to leave the premises.
Every day from 9:30 - 11:00 a.m. and again from 5:00 - 6:30 pm, non-member residents and their visiting friends and family members who are staying with the non-member resident can play in “SaddleBrooke Resident Drop-in” on courts 12 & 13.
How does SaddleBrooke Resident Drop-in work? Come down to the RPC and stack your paddles by the entrance to court 12. The first four people who have stacked their paddles should play on the first empty court (12 or 13). Games are played to 11 points, win by 2, except that if there are 4 or more paddles stacked by people waiting to play, the game should be played to 9, win by 1. Once your game is finished, stack your paddles again and wait for the next court to open.
In addition, SPA members and their visiting friends and family members may also play during these “SaddleBrooke Resident Drop-in” times.
For SPA members, a variety of other play options are available, such as Group play, round robin play and the ability to make individual court reservations. If you would like to try the benefits of SPA membership, associate memberships are available for 1, 2, or 3-month durations. To learn more about membership options and benefits, please contact Gail Montgomery, SPA Membership Chair, at firstname.lastname@example.org
